A Promise To Our Fathers.
In 1958, 2 nine-year-old boys met as neighbors and became best friends. Their fathers had each experienced the hell of war--one as a victim ot the Nazis, the other as a soldier and liberator. The boys made a promise to their fathers to share their families' remarkable experiences and ensure the world never forgets the horrors of the Holocaust. This a documentary film that recounts this special sotry of Holocaust survivors who lost everything but each other and Army medic who treated survivors in the Dachau concentration camp. It is a moving tribute to the power of survival, to friendship and to a commitment to make a difference in the fight against antisemitism.
