A German war deserter is blackmailed into conducting an apparent suicide mission for the British. Forced to pose as an SS officer, Robert Crain must seize a German freighter booby-trapped to explode upon capture. Complicating the situation, sixteen prisoners of war are also brought on board, including a beautiful young concentration camp survivor.
